What an amazing first quarter we had! 2018, is up to a great start. In January, our founder and core team members toured classes during graduation week and gave out graduation certificate and met classes participants and parents.
In each and every class, the teams worked tremendously on correcting behaviors, building their self-esteem, encouraging and supporting them as they learned the importance of healthy eating. We challenged each girl and boy to form an alliance and to build a healthy relationship that respects one another. We also encouraged them to respect the other gender in order to stand against abuse, bullying, and sexual harassment. We taught them the importance of self-discovery and critical thinking and equipped them with emotional intelligence to impact their characters and their perspective on life and the future. We are absolutely amazed with all the changes we seen.
Earlier this year, we added amazing people to our team. We had to celebrate their hard work and success. Our impact would not have happened without them. All credit goes to the team of dedicated trainers and volunteers who make Heya Masr’s vision comes true. THANK YOU!
We started 2018 strong. We ask you to make a pledge of support to our mission. By contributing with as little as $75, you are investing in our work by supporting a child for 3 months of training. We are working hard on expanding to reach more boys and girls but we need your help of investment to bring on new trainers and equip them with the right tools to make the change in the lives of our participants.
We currently running five classes in Cairo and Giza and we want to expand even further to more locations and moregovernance outside of Cairo. Please support us today. Every $ helps. Thank you in advance for your contribution!
In 2017, we respond to the growing need to work with boys, and in 2018 we continued this work. our new program specifically targeting the future men of Egypt. We tailored our curriculum, train new volunteers, and build a new relationship with local communities.
It was all worth it. In 2017, we graduated a class of 15 boys and and here we are graduating more boys. We are proud of the success we made to date and committed to continue our work to change the future for kids all over Egypt. Please support us financially today to empower and equip the next generation for a better Egypt.
