Fatma Helmy. I am a 29-year-old female Egyptian. I am passionate about helping vulnerable people, especially women and children, to become effective social participants in their home societies. I am pursuing a masters degree in Social Anthropology from Cairo University at the Institute of African Research and Studies. I have eight years of professional experience working with vulnerable and marginalized populations, helping them by increasing awareness of their needs and motivating them to demand their rights and protection. I also provide them with legal and psychological support. Currently, I am a child protection officer at the Egyptian Foundation for Refugee Rights and a volunteer instructor with the Heya Masr initiative.
